Fun in D.C.

I went to D.C. for my 5-year reunion right after the engagement. :) I stayed with several friends and got to see some of my favorite sites.

Coalson and I got bored and baked. These are brown-butter pound cake cupcakes. Insanely good. I think C and I should open a law firm/bakery.

Extraordinary!

I spent the past weekend in Minnesota with the boy's family. Lots of food and lots of celebrating.

Oh, and also - I got engaged!!!!!

We were watching the sunset at the end of a dock, overlooking the lake when he popped the question. I managed to say "yes" in between grabbing the ring and laughing.

Very happy.
